Terms and Conditions for Stella Dei Venti Tour Boat Excursions
1. Booking and Payment
- Bookings can be made by phone or in person, subject to availability.
- We accept credit card payments over the phone, or cash/credit card payments on the boat before departure.
- All passengers must complete payment prior to the start of the excursion.
2. Cancellations and No-Shows
- You may cancel your booking without penalty if you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- If you do not show up and have not notified us, your spot may be released, and repeat no-shows may be refused future bookings.
- For phone payments: if the excursion is not cancelled by the customer in time, the deposit will not be refunded. (within 24 hours)
3. Weather and Cancellations by the Company
- Trips are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or safety conditions, as determined by the captain.
- If we cancel a trip, any prepayments will be refunded in full, or you may choose to reschedule at no extra cost.
- If a trip is shortened after departure due to unforeseen circumstances, partial refunds may be offered at our discretion.
4. Arrival Time
- Passengers must arrive at least 15–30 minutes before departure for check-in and payment.
- If you are not present 15 minutes before departure, we may offer your seat to standby guests.
5. Safety and Conduct
- All guests must comply with crew instructions at all times.
- Safety equipment (including life jackets) will be provided and must be worn when instructed.
- We reserve the right to deny boarding to any guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol or whose behavior presents a risk to safety.
6. Health and Participation
- Guests with medical conditions or physical limitations should inform us in advance.
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. If you are unsure about your ability to safely participate, please consult your doctor before joining the trip.
7. Liability
- Stell Dei Venti Tour is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
- We are not liable for injury or illness unless caused by our proven negligence.
8. Photography and Promotion
- Photos or video may be taken during excursions and used for marketing purposes.
- If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform a crew member before departure.
9. Insurance
- We recommend all passengers have personal travel or health insurance that covers marine activities. We carry public liability insurance for our operations.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Palermo, Sicily, and any disputes will be handled by the courts in that jurisdiction.
